Nothing about Life in The Sims 4?

If I didn’t know what The Sims 4 is (I played “The Sims” games before), from the little to no information EA releases, I wouldn’t understand what the game is about.

They said nothing about our Sims actually LIVING their life. I mean how do weddings and engagements work? What kind of parties and dating in the Sims 4 is there? Nothing about jobs either. So far I see that we will be able to have a changed build mode, but I did not see any terrain sculpting tools and the pools will be sold in an expansion pack.

I need to know what my Sims will be able to do! They have explained practically nothing about the “playing” aspect of the game. I only hear of loading screens and the system behind the city itself.

This makes me think…
Is there going to be nothing to do in The Sims 4?
Can we even interact with the ducks in the park (you know, since its a new thing)?

The Sims 1 had an interactive pond, never to be seen again…?
